I went to familial dollar and bought Claritan with 10 mg of loratadine for my allergies. It be $5.00 for five tablets. Next to it was a box labeled Loratadine 10mg, 30 tablets for $2.00. The price difference be so big that I didn't get the cheap ones because they might be unsafe, or they might not work. What do you guys chew over?Is the generic brand as nontoxic AND important?
The active drug is like loratadine. Some people find different level of effectiveness due to psychological reason and due to the difference in the pill compound. The pill isn't 100% loratadine. It have additives in it to for a pill and to enjoy it dissolve in the correct location contained by the digestive tract. Different companies use different additives. Each of these has be approved by the FDA for use. Most people see little to no change in effects from the moniker brand to the generic other than more money surrounded by their pockets. My suggestion is to go near the generic.
I take Loratadine 10mg, and it works as Claritin. I exactly alike but cheaper. Next time keep your money.
THey can't flog stuff that's not safe, I deduce it's just as honourable as the name brand, and the dollar store is a cheap instrument to go.
Yes they are pretty darn protected. For the person such as me who cant other afford the name brands..the generic ones work of late as well. Sometimes its even surprising because they work better. You freshly might have to whip the generic ones a little more commonly. Overall...they really work just like peas in a pod.
Most generics are safe and important. Extensive testing go into making sure the have like activity.
Interesting reality is that most companies that have Brand mark drugs, have their own file of generics for thier competitors drugs. There are some instantces that they even make generics for some of within own drugs.
